My 3 Worst Losing Trades, With the Receipts
Three option positions cost Austin Starks $7,924. This video shows each one against the underlying stock's real price line, with the day he bought and the day he sold marked on the chart, so the loss can be checked rather than taken on trust. Every figure is read leg-by-leg off filled Robinhood orders and reconciles to the cent against the realized profit and loss feed.
Number three is an NVDA January 2026 130 call, bought 13 January 2025 for $2,920 and closed 99 days later for $760. The stock fell 19.4% over that window and the call fell 74%. That gap is the point: a modest move in the underlying is a catastrophic one in a long call, and it is the same leverage that produced the winners in the companion video.
Number two is a META April 2026 650 call, bought straight after earnings on 3 November 2025 for $7,301 and sold ten days later for $4,747. Meta itself was down only 4.4% that week.
Number one is an NVDA January 2027 200 call. He opened it on 29 October 2025 for $4,800, watched it fall for three weeks, then bought a second contract on 17 November rather than cutting it. Doubling down turned it into a $3,210 loss on $8,430 at risk. The ranking is by position rather than by trade: that position was closed in two pieces, and counted as separate trades it drops from first to third.
One figure in the closing line is unrealized. He rolled those NVDA calls down into a 170 call and two 180 calls, which are still open and up $5,524 on paper as of 9 September 2026. Every other number in the video is money that has actually moved.

0:00These three trades lost me almost $8,000. I'm a senior AI engineer, and I showed you my winners, so here is the other side. Here are my three worst.
0:09Number three is Nvidia. I bought a 130 call in January and held it 99 days. The stock fell 19%, and my call fell 74%. That cost me $2,100.
0:21Number two is Meta. I bought the dip right after earnings and sold ten days later, down $2,500. Meta itself was only down 4% that week.
0:32Number one is Nvidia again. I bought a 200 call, watched it fall for three weeks, and bought a second one. Doubling down made it a $3,200 loss.
0:42$18,000 went into these three and $10,700 came back. I rolled those Nvidia calls down and they became my biggest winner of the year, so follow me for that half.
