My top 3 stock picks for 2027
I am a senior AI engineer, and I use AI agents to read financial statements. These are the three stocks I am buying for 2027, with the numbers behind each one.
Number three is Duolingo. Everyone assumed AI killed it and the stock fell 71%, but revenue has gone up every single quarter since it went public, which is 20 quarters without a single down quarter. It runs 72% gross margins, has been profitable for 13 quarters straight, and holds $1.2 billion in cash with almost no debt. The rest of edtech did not survive the same period: Coursera has never posted a profitable quarter, Chegg's revenue fell by half, and Udemy was acquired and delisted.
Number two is Oscar Health. I was a software engineer there, I left, and I own almost no shares. Oscar lost $443 million in 2025 and then made a billion dollars in the first half of 2026. Admin costs dropped 450 basis points because the whole company runs on software, and membership grew 46% in a year when the ACA market shrank. Every comparable carrier went the other way, and two of the biggest are leaving the individual market entirely.
Number one is NVIDIA. It did $96 billion of revenue in a single quarter and grew that 106%. No company at that size has ever grown that fast, not Apple, not Amazon and not Google, and it still trades at a lower earnings multiple than Apple does.
All three came out of the same system I run in my Public Portfolio Challenge, where I put $25,000 into a real brokerage account and publish every trade my AI agents make on GitHub. Six months later it is worth over $30,000.
