What I Think of Palantir as a Software Engineer. I Turned Down $300,000.
I do not consider myself a moral person. When the chance came to make over $300,000 at Palantir, I still said no. I am not going to build AI that decides which children get targeted, that puts American citizens in a mass surveillance database, or that makes an ordinary person's life worse.
I think the stock might be a little overvalued and it could still work as a trade. That is a different question from selling the work. I would not take the job.
