I Spent 1,400 Days Building This. 35,000 People Have Tried It.
I spent 1,400 days building an algorithmic trading platform. I started in grad school at Carnegie Mellon. Version one was a red UI I wrote myself from a diagram. I rebuilt it: 1,873,324 lines of TypeScript, Rust, and Python, source only. 35,000 people have tried it. It is connected to a real broker and it trades with real money.
The live book is the Public Portfolio Challenge. Google that name. On September 3, 2026 the headline card read $30,864, up 23.5 percent against SPY at plus 6.0 percent.
