These platforms, backed by Apollo, can be deployed in almost any environment. Similarly, customers can now use Apollo to enable continuous deployment, configuration management, and central software operations management across almost any environment for their own software products. Gotham Gotham enables users to identify patterns hidden deep within datasets, ranging from signals intelligence sources to reports from confidential informants. It also facilitates the hand-off between analysts and operational users, helping operators plan and execute real-world responses to threats that have been identified within the platform. Gotham is now used broadly across government functions. Foundry Foundry transforms the ways organizations operate by creating a central operating system for their data. Individual users can integrate and analyze the data they need in one place.
The speed with which users can experiment and test new ideas is what makes the software stick. Data projects often fail because the steps and methods used to build data pipelines are difficult to understand and recreate. We built Foundry’s backend to solve the root of this problem. The platform’s graphical interface does the rest, allowing users to track and trace their pipelines so they know what the rows and columns in their tables represent and why they are there. All of our commercial customers now use it, as do several of our government customers. AIP AIP enables responsible AI-advantage across the enterprise and government by using primary, core components built to effectively activate LLMs and other AI within any organization.

Components of Results of Operations Revenue We derive revenue from the sale of: (1) software licenses for use of our proprietary software and related maintenance and support; (2) the right to access certain software products we host (i.e., SaaS); and (3) professional services. We have a unified commercial offering for software products with both on-premises and cloud deployment options that allows customers the choice of either deployment option throughout the term of the contract. These Flex Offerings are comprised of three types of performance obligations: term license, maintenance and support, and SaaS. Licenses Our term licenses (typically sold as a portion of Flex Offerings) provide customers the right to use software for a specified period of time.
If the carrying amount of an asset or asset group exceeds the related undiscounted cash flows, it is considered to be impaired and an impairment charge is recognized for the amount by which the carrying value of the asset or asset group exceeds its fair value. There were no events or changes in circumstances during fiscal year 2025, 2024, or 2023 which indicated potential impairment of our long-lived assets. Revenue Recognition We derive revenue from the sale of: (1) software licenses for on-premises use of our proprietary software and related maintenance and support; (2) the right to access certain software products we host (i.e., SaaS); and (3) professional services. For many of our products that are available both on-premises and via SaaS, we sell a single offering that allows customers the choice of either on-premises or SaaS deployment throughout the term of the contract.

Behind the comparison

Sources and methodology

Price return uses split-adjusted daily closes and excludes dividends. Both stocks start on the first shared trading day within the selected window. Unavailable metrics leave gaps.

Financials use SEC canonical statements available by the displayed cutoff, retaining each company's fiscal period end. Annual and quarterly amounts are shown separately. P/E is unavailable when earnings do not support a positive ratio.

Business overlap uses industry tags from annual filings released in 2025. Each core activity receives full weight; each material activity receives one quarter of that weight. Rarer industries carry more weight. We sum the smaller exposure for each shared activity and divide it by the sum of the larger exposure for every activity in either company. This measures business overlap, rather than price correlation or expected returns.

Search eligibility requires distinct issuers, a shared core category and at least 20% weighted overlap, supported by industry or sector evidence and specific business activities. Broad classifications require stronger overlap within the same sector. Comparisons also need at least 252 shared price observations within two years, recent trading and a common sourced revenue or net-income trend. Missing P/E or gross margin alone does not exclude a comparison. The eligibility snapshot refreshes daily. Related comparisons use a separate, stricter peer rule; their ten-peer discovery limit does not limit search eligibility. Other stock pairs remain available in the comparison tool.
